The boundary of this policy
This policy covers the Sparkwoven Android app and the two packaged static pages at the root introduction route and this privacy route. Sparkwoven is an app-authored fieldbook inspired by Stoke the Spark Collective’s published focus on belonging and real, in-person community. It is not the organization’s official registration, volunteer, mentorship, event, prayer, donation, counseling, or crisis system.
The packaged website contains local HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and raster images. It contains no form, account, analytics script, advertising tag, tracking pixel, cookie banner, or browser-storage feature. If a publisher later places these files on a hosting provider, that provider may process ordinary network request information under its own terms. This local package does not identify or promise a particular host.
What Sparkwoven is for
Sparkwoven offers illustrated, non-clinical ideas for ordinary moments of connection: specific invitations, careful listening, shared making, short outdoor activities, bounded mentorship practices, low-pressure gatherings, caregiver reflection, and community participation. A user may browse the library, choose a context, save cards, mark cards tried, or arrange a private Little Gathering of a few cards.
The app is designed to help someone choose a possible next step. It does not establish a relationship, verify another person’s consent, supervise an activity, approve a mentor, determine eligibility, confirm an event, evaluate mental health, deliver treatment, or contact the organization.
Information the app does not collect
The Android app has no feature that asks for or transmits:
- a name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, username, password, or account identifier;
- precise or approximate location, contacts, calendar, photos, videos, microphone audio, camera input, files, or device advertising identifier;
- health, diagnosis, treatment, disability, crisis, prayer, faith, school, family, financial, donation, volunteer, mentorship, or safeguarding information;
- a message, journal entry, testimonial, private story, service request, event registration, or form response.
The app’s illustrations depict fictional, non-identifiable people and places. They are not user uploads and are not records about real participants.
Local choices the app remembers
Sparkwoven uses Android’s private app preferences to remember only predefined product state:
- the selected context, such as a quiet moment, one trusted person, a small group, an outdoor moment, or making something;
- the internal IDs of cards saved as favorites;
- the internal IDs of cards marked tried;
- the internal IDs and order of cards placed in the Little Gathering.
These values describe how the app interface was arranged. They do not contain the card user’s name, another person’s identity, an explanation for a choice, or a record of what happened in real life.
No sensitive-story field
Sparkwoven deliberately provides no free-text journal, message composer, contact book, prayer-request field, case note, mentor note, incident report, mood diary, diagnosis field, or private-story upload. A card can be saved, included in the Little Gathering, or marked tried; the app does not ask who the card concerned or why it was chosen.
Real safeguarding notes, emergency information, professional records, guardian permissions, volunteer records, and organization communications belong in the current authorized human system for that purpose—not in Sparkwoven.
Device permissions
The release app does not request Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, location, Bluetooth, nearby-device, notifications, phone, SMS, media-library, file-storage, accessibility-service, biometric, health, or payment permission. It uses ordinary application capabilities to draw its interface, display the raster artwork packaged inside the app, and write its small preference file in private app storage.
Android and the app store may display operating-system information that is outside the app’s own permission requests. Installing or running Sparkwoven does not grant the app a hidden right to inspect other apps or personal device content.
Accounts and identity
There is no Sparkwoven account, login, profile, cloud identity, user directory, friend list, follower system, public post, chat, group membership, or synchronization feature. The app does not ask a person to identify as a youth, caregiver, mentor, volunteer, family member, or organization participant.
Because there is no account service, Sparkwoven cannot restore local choices onto a different device, merge choices across installations, verify age or identity, or recover a deleted local weave.
Analytics, ads, and observation
The app includes no analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, tracking pixel, session replay, heat map, behavioral profile, engagement score, A/B testing service, or remote configuration. It does not record which screen was opened, which card was read, how long someone stayed, or whether a real-world activity occurred.
There are no advertisements, sponsored placements, paid boosts, behavioral recommendations, or in-app purchases. A card is suggested from the content already packaged in the app based on the context the user selected; no remote service or personal profile chooses it.
Network behavior
The Android release does not declare the Internet permission and contains no in-app browser, API client, account service, download manager, remote image loader, push notification client, or online database. Its text and images are installed with the application and remain usable without a network connection.
The website is different in one obvious respect: a browser must load the static page from wherever the publisher places it. The page itself performs no background request to analytics, font, advertising, media, form, or application services. External organization and resource links open only after a visitor chooses them, and the destination then operates under its own policies.
Sharing and sale
Sparkwoven does not transmit local card choices to Stoke the Spark Collective, the app publisher, another user, an advertiser, a data broker, an analytics company, a social network, or any other third party. It does not sell, rent, license, monetize, disclose, or exchange personal information because the app does not collect personal information.
The app has no export or share button for the Little Gathering, favorites, or tried state. Someone may independently describe an activity outside the app, but Sparkwoven does not package or send their local state.
Retention on the device
Local preferences remain in the Android app’s private storage until one of these things happens: the user changes or removes a card state, chooses Erase my weave, clears the app’s storage through Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Sparkwoven has no server-side copy and no retention schedule outside the device.
Device backups and device-to-device transfer are disabled for the app’s private data. Android behavior can vary by operating-system version and device vendor, so a user who needs a complete local reset should use the in-app erase action or Android’s application-storage controls and confirm the visible result.
Erase my weave
The Collective screen includes an Erase my weave control. After confirmation, it removes favorites, tried marks, the Little Gathering, and the selected context from Sparkwoven’s preferences on that device. The interface returns to its initial local state.
The erasure action cannot delete information held by Android, an app store, a future website host, a linked external service, or a separate organization system. Sparkwoven did not write those records and has no account or network channel through which to control them.
Young people and families
Sparkwoven’s editorial material includes youth, caregivers, mentors, and community settings, but the app does not create youth accounts, collect age, target advertising, enable adult–minor messaging, identify a family, or provide secret communication. It does not enroll someone in a cohort, event, prayer team, mentorship relationship, or volunteer role.
Adults remain responsible for appropriate supervision, guardian consent, safe public settings, two-adult or other safeguarding procedures, current organization rules, transportation, accessibility, food safety, tool safety, and professional escalation. Passing, observing, leaving, declining touch, declining eye contact, and declining disclosure are treated as valid choices throughout the app’s content.
Safety and security limits
Local-only design and minimal state reduce exposure, but they do not make a device invulnerable. Someone who can unlock the device or access its application storage through operating-system, forensic, administrative, malware, or physical means may be able to see which card IDs were saved or marked tried. Sparkwoven does not add a separate passcode or encryption layer beyond the device and Android application sandbox.
For that reason, the app intentionally avoids free text and tells users not to treat it as a confidential record. Keep the device updated, use an appropriate screen lock, do not share an unlocked device carelessly, and erase local choices when they are no longer wanted.
Your controls
Inside the app, a user can change the context, save or unsave a card, add or remove a card from the Little Gathering, change the gathering order, mark or unmark a card tried, clear the Little Gathering, and erase all app-owned preferences. Android also offers application information, permission, storage, and uninstall controls at the operating-system level.
No consent setting is hidden behind an account, subscription, advertisement, or support ticket. Because nothing is sent to a Sparkwoven server, there is no remote profile-access or remote data-deletion request process.
External resources and guidance limits
Sparkwoven is not medical, mental-health, legal, safeguarding, emergency, or professional advice. It does not monitor use or know whether someone is safe. If immediate danger is present, contact local emergency services. In the United States, 988 is the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; availability and contact methods can change, so current official sources should be checked whenever possible.
When a young person needs support, involve a trusted adult and follow current guardian, school, program, professional, and safeguarding procedures. When needs exceed an ordinary supportive role, connect the person with a qualified counselor, clinician, program lead, social worker, emergency service, or other appropriate human support.
Links to Stoke the Spark Collective or another resource leave this static site. The destination can collect network or form information under its own policy. Sparkwoven does not control that destination and does not receive what a visitor submits there.
Changes to this policy
This policy describes the local release represented by this website package. If the app’s actual behavior changes—for example, if a future publisher adds network access, an account, a form, a permission, analytics, a support channel, or a new kind of storage—the policy and any app-store disclosures should be updated before that changed release is distributed.
A revised page should identify a new effective date and explain the material change. This policy does not silently authorize a future feature that is absent from the current app.
Privacy questions
This local package does not establish a publisher-controlled privacy mailbox, response time, mailing address, or legal contact. Those facts must not be invented. For current organization information, use the contact route published on Stoke the Spark Collective’s official website.
Opening that external contact page leaves Sparkwoven. Any information entered there is governed by the organization’s current site and privacy practices, not by the local app behavior described here.
